Construction ready to start on Block 1

Great news for Townsend Meadows as Block 1, at the entrance to the Development, has now been sold and the drawings for the 3 units are in the hands of the Architect, waiting for building permits, so we can start construction as soon as possible. With the completion of Block 1, 15 of the 23 units in Phase One will be completed, which is wonderful to see.

Property Management is ongoing!

With summer behind us it was a pleasure to see that Mike Soetemans has done an excellent job in clearing the weeds from our property and keeping all the grasses cut. The area around the drainage pond and the property beside the Canadian Tire has been cleaned up very nicely as well. Hopefully construction can start on the next Block, with units 1-3 soon.

New Resident's Handbook

The new Resident's Handbook was approved this past week with a lot of work by the committee looking after it. The Handbook will be distributed to all residents and new purchasers outlining and reviewing the Rules and Regulations, the Life Lease agreement plus emergency numbers you may need. Great Job.

New Directors for Townsend Meadows

We would like to announce that Sandy Weaver and Elsie Van Bree, both residents of Townsend Meadows, have agreed to join our Board of Directors. Sandy has become our secretary and is great at sending out the minutes to our meetings. Elsie is very thorough at our meetings and asks lots of good questions, so it nice to have the two new members.

Construction is Progressing

Townsend Meadows is moving forward and it is great to report that Block 4 is fully sold and the new tenants have all moved in. Just this week Block 1, with 3 units has now been sold as well and construction of this Block should be able to start as soon as possible. That is units number 1-3 at the entrance to the Development.
